Our client is the leading developer, owner and manager of premium specialist shopping centre destinations across the UK and mainland Europe. Their outlets are located within the most cosmopolitan and vibrant areas in Europe, and have become firmly established amongst the most popular and successful outlet destinations anywhere on the continent. They now seek a talented and ambitious Marketing Manager to join this successful venture in Northern Germany.

Your role will be to develop and implement a marketing strategy which will build and enhance brand awareness, and create strong customer loyalty across the centres for which you are responsible. You will analyse regional / national customer research in order to formulate an appropriate consumer strategy. You will then deliver an exciting promotional calendar of tactical events, public relations and promotional campaigns which will deliver high levels of customer / visitor footfall.

You will personally direct all local / regional advertising and marketing spend, and manage the relationships of local media, agencies, and tourist authorities. It is vital that you are able to both plan and track marketing expenditure to ensure that marketing budgets are delivering cost-effective value for money, but are also in line with corporate brand values.

You will also assist the Centre Management team in support of any commercialisation activities (e.g. Gift Card / Affinity Marketing initiatives) to enhance centre profitability. You will also ensure that the Centre's point-of-sale and graphics / signage material are consistently in line with corporate policy.

We are seeking an ambitious and talented Marketeer with a creative streak and also the proven ability to translate good ideas into practical, and measurable, commercial success. You will ideally possess at least 5 years experience within a retail / shopping centre marketing background, or possibly within an Agency / Creative Services organisation.
