Our client pioneered the designer outlet shopping concept and today is recognised as the leading developer, owner and manager of premium quality specialist shopping centre destinations across the UK and Europe.

They now wish to recruit an experienced Leasing Manager professional to manage the leasing of all new stores and brands, and re-leasing of vacancies, in order to maximise rental and the return from tenants thereby increasing centre profitability.

The key accountabilities of the role are:

• Develop and implement leasing plans for assigned centre(s) to ensure all available space is leased in an appropriate, timely and effective manner.


• Negotiate and budget the terms and conditions of leases, optimising the benefit for our client.


• Work with tenants to develop and agree retail standards and ensure tenants fulfil their lease obligations and achieve their potential.


• Ensure investor consents are obtained and that legal processes are managed effectively through close cooperation with legal advisors.


• Manage and motivate leasing agents, ensuring  they promote our client's proposition and that the quality of leasing services and expertise meet business needs.


• Maintain and develop effective working relations with external clients, including investors, owners and brand partners and act as an ambassador for the business.


• Work with cross-regional and cross-functional teams to determine best prospect and product mix of tenants / brands and influence existing brands to take space in other European schemes. 

You will be an experienced and qualified leasing specialist with a background in retail, agency or corporate environments. You are a skilled lease negotiator with proven success managing a portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong results focus in a team oriented environment and be comfortable taking the lead on projects which you manage with efficiency and skill.
